View from the lodge

I just came back from a fishing trip with some co-workers. We stayed in the Tyee Lodge in Bamfield on the west side of the island for four days. We limited out on Chinook by the 2nd day and then went after Coho and Halibut. All the fish attracted tons of sea lions, orcas, and one humpback that came up right beside the boat. I wish I could go more often, the last time was a year ago... it's so relaxing that you never want to leave...
Waiting for a bite, the water was as calm as glass.
